CARBON-PRO contribute to improve the environmental governance capacities for EU
member states (I, AT, D, GR), new member states (HU, SI) and accession countries (HR).
Project results may be implemented by further bodies responsible for the environmental
resources management of other areas. They can also address the planning documents of CADSES countries concerning the management of agricultural and forest systems and promote an integrated sustainable development among states, and transnational crossborder strategies/methods for improving the management of agricultural and forest systems of the CADSES area, in order to obtain better environmental schemes and economic results by carbon credits.

The project leads to an application at local level of integrated methods commonly outlined at transnational level following a bottom up approach and in order to pursue integration with
local Agenda 21 processes.

Project results may be implemented by further bodies responsible for the environmental resources management of neighbouring areas.
