Target Groups

Target groups are the organisation concerned by the project activities and also further bodies of CADSES area and Turkey, which will be able to apply CARBON-PRO results and tools in their own areas:

• National authorities in charge to set up national politics towards environmental protection and management, especially for the marketing of carbon credits;
• Regional authorities who must collect and complete their carbon balance using scientifically validated methods, and promote the managing of agriculture and forests (public and private) towards the increasing of carbon credits;
• Provinces and municipalities for aspects related to environmental resources management and data collection for carbon cycle;
• Local agricultural and forestry research centres, who have to fit for application of
  transnational and integrated methods of environmental data collection;
• Environmental scientific community, for the harmonization of existing methodologies to support the carbon cycle accountancy model.

Direct Beneficiaries

Direct beneficiaries concerned by the project are:

• public institutions (ministries, regions and municipalities) in charge of the environmental management, with relation to their level of competence. These will directly benefit from the project, in terms of taking advantage of the tools, strategies and principles for the managing of the carbon cycle and the carbon credits market outlined within the project;
• local research centres where the pilot actions take place for improving the data collection within a transnational and cross border approach;
• enterprises, owners of private forests and population directly involved by the actions, may take direct advantage of strategies and patterns envisaged for the improving of the quality of environment;
• scientific research community on environmental issues of 7 CADSES countries, Eu and non-EU.
